Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals and family members regarding client progress and any concerns.
- Report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to all road safety regulations.
- Utilise our care software for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence and dignity for all clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in healthcare or a related field is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
- Strong command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Experience in home care or care home settings is advantageous, particularly in understanding the unique needs of different individuals.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for this role, facilitating travel between client locations.
