This time be a position but will cover one day at the weekend, we are open Saturdays and Sundays. So you would need to be able to cover one of these as well as additional Hours during the week .
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services while ensuring that each client feels valued and satisfied. Your expertise in hair styling, along with skills in upselling and customer communication, will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall client experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalised recommendations.
- Upsell products and services to clients, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Mentor junior stylists or trainees by sharing knowledge and best practices within the salon environment.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling, barberingQualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and retail product knowledge.
- Experience in store management is advantageous but not essential.
- A valid hairdressing qualification or certification is required.
