Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team at our factory based in telford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments as per established protocols.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly tidying up workspaces and equipment.
- Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
Hours are 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday. Overtime may be available.
Job Type: Full-time
