About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coaches to join our summer camp team at Edmund Rice College and various Belfast City Council centres, working with children aged 4–13. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sport, love working with children, and can create a fun, safe, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver fun, inclusive, and engaging sports sessions for children of varying ages and abilities
- Encourage participation and help build children’s confidence through physical activity
- Create new and exciting games and activities to keep sessions fresh and enjoyable
- Ensure a safe environment at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety guidelines
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Adapt activities to suit different age groups (4–13 years old)
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children (essential)
- Relevant sports coaching qualification/badge (essential)
- Full, valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
- Ability to think creatively and bring new ideas to sessions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for helping children stay active and enjoy sport
Desirable (but not essential)
- Access to own vehicle
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding training
- Experience in a camp, school, or club setting

Pay: £12.00-£17.50 per hour
