Cook Wanted – Alderford Lake Kitchen
We’re looking for a Cook to join the team at Alderford Lake Kitchen.
If you enjoy working with fresh food and being part of a busy, friendly team, this could be the spot for you. Our kitchen serves up simple, quality dishes for visitors to the lake — and we take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe
- Working closely with the rest of the team during busy service times
- Helping maintain a positive and professional atmosphere in the kitchen
What we’re looking for:
- Some kitchen or catering experience (though we can offer training)
- A passion for cooking
- Keeps calm under pressure
- A reliable, team-focused attitude
- Someone who enjoys working in a lively, customer-focused environment

This job is mainly for weekend work sand potentially some days midweek. This is a fixed term contract which will end on 1st September but could be renewed for the right person.
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
