Fire Alarm Engineer (Service & Installation Opportunities)
We are currently working on behalf of a well-established and highly reputable fire safety company who are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking either a service-based or installation-focused role, working across a range of commercial, residential, and industrial sites.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems in accordance with industry regulations
- Completing routine servicing and planned maintenance on fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ensure systems remain fully compliant and operational
- Producing clear and accurate service reports and documentation
- Providing professional support and communication to clients on-site
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current health and safety standards
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Technician, Electrical Engineer, or similar
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm installation, servicing, and fault-finding
- Understanding of British Standards and fire safety regulations (BS 5839 preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
