Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Virtual Event Host to lead and facilitate online events, ensuring an enjoyable and seamless experience for all participants. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management skills, a friendly demeanour, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. Duties
- Host and moderate live virtual events, webinars, or conferences with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Manage event flow, including introductions, transitions, and audience engagement activities
- Interact with guests and participants via chat functions or live Q&A sessions to foster a welcoming environment
- Coordinate with event organisers to ensure all technical aspects run smoothly
- Monitor attendee participation and address any technical issues promptly
- Provide excellent guest services by responding to participant queries courteously and efficiently
- Assist in the preparation of event materials and presentations as required
- Gather feedback post-event to improve future sessions and enhance overall guest experience
Skills
- Proven management skills with the ability to oversee live virtual events effectively
- Strong hospitality skills, demonstrating warmth, friendliness, and professionalism at all times
- Excellent guest service capabilities, ensuring participants feel valued and engaged throughout the event
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear and engaging speaking style
- Ability to adapt quickly to technical challenges and troubleshoot issues confidently
- Organised with strong time-management skills to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in managing online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools is desirable but not essential
