We are looking for bar and waiting staff to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. Hours by arrangement. Experience not necessary as training given.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. We are looking for someone with a great personality who will be an excellent addition to our team. Flexibility during evenings and weekends is essential. Must be over 18.
Duties:
- Greeting and seating customers
- Taking orders for food and drink
- Serving food
- Serving alcohol
- Cleaning and resetting tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware as needed
- Answering phone calls

We have privately owned The Barn for over 30 years and have had the same General Manager throughout this time. The Barn is situated in an ideal location in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells, close to the train station, with a stunning garden and characterful building.
In addition to our pub and restaurant business, we have developed an outstanding reputation for weddings and have been winners in the annual Kent Wedding Awards on 3 occasions, and finalists every year since 2013.
This is a permanent part time position and therefore not suitable for students during Term time breaks only.
