Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice/Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children with their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and personal care.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children of all backgrounds.
- Engage with children through play, educational exercises, and social interactions to encourage their growth.
- Support senior staff in maintaining nursery standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive nursery experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and updating child development portfolios.
- Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance childcare skills and management capabilities.
Experience
Level 2 or 3 in childcare is more desirable but we would consider an apprentice for the correct candidate.
All candidates must be over 18 years of age.
- Knowledge of nursery practices, child development stages, and early childhood principles is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- A valid driving license is preferred due to location. This position offers an enriching environment for individuals eager to build a career in childcare while making a positive impact on young lives.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
