Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-kept. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate and maintain power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely.
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and general garden upkeep.
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, servicing, and basic mechanical repairs.
- Fencing and soft landscaping
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with construction practices related to outdoor environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening techniques.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery over extended periods.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred for operating company vehicles or transporting equipment.
- A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

Pay: £24,862.00-£27,560.00 per year
