Cleaning Supervisor – Residential Properties (Full-Time)
Hourly Rate: £16.00 per hour (travel time between properties and lunch break paid)
Contract: Full-time position – (20-hour contract)
Work Pattern: Flexible hours, varying start times, weekend availability required
Location: Multiple residential properties (travel between sites required)
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, reliable, and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across several residential properties. This is a hands-on role involving supervising cleaners, inspecting properties, and ensuring high standards are consistently met, and travelling between properties.
The ideal candidate enjoys varied days, is comfortable travelling between locations, and can confidently take responsibility for operations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations: Coordinate and manage the cleaning team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
- Inspect properties: Carry out quality checks across multiple locations, identify issues, and provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Reporting & communication: Prepare reports on cleaning quality and staff performance, maintaining strong communication between cleaners and the office.
- Task allocation & monitoring: Review cleaners’ reports, assign jobs, and ensure schedules are followed.
- Take charge when required: On assigned days, manage the full operation, resolve issues, and complete basic administrative tasks such as record-keeping or ordering supplies.
- Support & train staff: Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring cleaners on procedures, safety, and quality expectations.
- Administrative duties: Complete required admin tasks alongside property inspections throughout the day, checking messages and emails.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, able to lead and motivate a team.
- Flexible and reliable, with availability for weekends and changing start times.
- Comfortable travelling between properties .
- Able to use basic technology such as apps, spreadsheets, or reporting tools.
