Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Eleanor Nursing and Social Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the well-being of our service users through nutritious meal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in daily operations.
- Help with the serving of meals to residents as needed.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for providing quality care through nutrition.
