Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and safely delivering items to customers in a timely manner. You will act as the face of our business, providing excellent customer service during drop-offs and ensuring all logistics run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Transport & Delivery: Safely navigate efficient routes to deliver orders, food, or goods to specified locations within the designated timeframe. Loading & Unloading: Securely load items into the delivery vehicle to prevent damage and efficiently unload them upon arrival at the destination. Customer Service: Greet customers professionally, handle transactions or signatures if required, and resolve basic delivery complaints with a positive attitude. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the vehicle (checking fuel, oil, tire pressure, and brakes) and report any mechanical issues immediately. Order Verification: Double-check orders against invoices or manifests before leaving the hub to ensure 100% accuracy. Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to all local traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety regulations at all times. Qualifications & Requirements License: A valid, clean Driver’s License (appropriate for the class of vehicle being driven) with a proven safe driving record. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy loads (typically up to 50 lbs) and stand/drive for extended periods. Navigation Skills: Proficient in using GPS apps and reading maps to find the most efficient routes. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under tight delivery schedules. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Background: Must pass a standard background check and driving record review. Working Conditions Frequent driving in various weather conditions (rain, heat, snow). Handling physical cargo and stepping in/out of vehicles frequently. Flexible hours, which may include weekends, evenings, or holidays depending on business demand
