Job Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our Stocks Hall care homes . Your compassionate nature and dedication will help enhance the quality of life for those in your care. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, ensuring that each individual receives personalised attention according to their care plans.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, catering to specific dietary requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour to senior staff.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Follow care plans meticulously to ensure that all individual needs are met effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Experience or knowledge of working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel between our locations.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
