As part of the Healthcare Development team, you will ensure the optimised delivery of our ambitious connected care pillar, bringing the best of health and wellness to our store estate. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of Boots Health initiatives across a large-scale, fast-moving property intervention programme, working closely with various teams to ensure seamless execution.
What you’ll be doing:
As part of the Healthcare Development team, the Project Manager will play a pivotal role in our Boots Health programme to ensure optimised delivery of the exciting and ambitious connected care pillar, bringing the best of health & wellness to our store estate.
The Project Manager for Boots Health will lead the end-to-end delivery of Boots Health initiatives across a large-scale, fast-moving property intervention programme through an interdependency with our MPP (Modernising Property Portfolio) ambitions. Operating at pace with a high degree of autonomy, the role is accountable for ensuring all Boots Health-related initiatives are delivered right first time and on time.
Working within a complex and evolving environment, the Project Manager will act as the central point of integration between Boots Health, Property, Operations, Store Development and broader functions/entities, ensuring seamless execution across a large-scale plan through bringing strong planning discipline, brilliant stakeholder leadership and the ability to navigate shifting priorities.
The post-holder will report into the Head of Healthcare Development, with close working relationships with Store Development and Property Programme Managers.
Key responsibilities:

Project managing the delivery of Boots Health initiatives in line with the MPP programme's 3-year plan, focusing on ensuring right first-time delivery across all Boots Health activity.

Leading critical path management across the store intervention programme for Boots Health, ensuring all dependencies, risks, and milestones are accurately tracked and communicated to all stakeholders.

Translating Boots Health operational, clinical, and commercial requirements into clear delivery plans, ensuring seamless integration across the programmes.

Driving on-time and right-first-time delivery of interventions through structured planning and performance tracking.

Managing stakeholder alignment across healthcare, store development, property, stores, and operations to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, risks, and delivery requirements.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves):

Proven experience in delivering large-scale programmes, ideally within retail, property, or healthcare.

Strong capability in critical path management, including building and maintaining complex critical paths.

Demonstrated track record of right first-time and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Experience coordinating across large cross-functional teams with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

Strong communication skills and experience managing RAID logs.

Strong analytical skills to interpret and track performance and inform decision-making.

Resilience and adaptability in environments with evolving requirements.
It would be great if you also have:

Experience delivering a healthcare retail or property programme.

Ability to support the integration of digital health or clinical technology into physical spaces.

Professional project management qualifications (desirable but not essential).
