We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations around the uk., ensuring timely service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV lorry in compliance with legal and company standards
- Delivery Educational Furniture to Sites across the UK
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with the loading and unloading process as required, maintaining health and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies at all times
- Warehouse Work if and when needed
- Early morning starts
- Overtime paid after 39 Hrs
- Some Overnights Required
- £16 p/h depending on Experience
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
- Vaild CPC Card
- Digital Tacho Card
- Maximum 6 points on Licence
- Minimum 1 Year Driving Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during daily deliveries .This role is ideal for experienced delivery drivers seeking a reliable position within a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety, and customer service.
