A School in Guildford is looking for Teaching Assistants to join their team. Applicants should be experienced in managing challenging behaviour and have a good knowledge of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH). You’ll be working alongside the school’s staff to create an inclusive and understanding environment, whilst tackling negative attitudes and social, economic, and cultural barriers.
Previous experience in a similar position is ideal, but candidates who have worked as Learning Support Assistants, Care Workers, or Sports Coaches, will also have appropriate experience. While the position will initially be on a long-term, temporary contract, there is potential to join the school on a permanent basis, which can be discussed with the school during your placement.
