We are seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery shop, assisting with daily tasks and providing excellent customer service. This position requires high standards of quality and cleanliness and working as a team.

Sunday 08.00 - 13.00
Monday 06.00 - 12.00
Tuesday 04.00 - 09.00
Wednesday 04.00 - 09.30
Total 21.50 Hours
Job 2
Thursday = 04.00 - 09.30
Friday = 04.00 - 09.30
Saturday = 07.00 - 14.00
Total = 18 hours
You need to be 18 or over to apply as this involves early starts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery products, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery area, including equipment and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing knowledgeable assistance regarding products and upselling where appropriate.
- Handle customer inquiries and orders efficiently, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively to enhance sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage stock levels efficiently.
