Job Overview:
The Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer will own and govern the Quality Management System, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer engagement and product, in addition to promoting a strong quality culture.
This role owns customer-facing quality responsibilities and is accountable for detailed root cause investigation and analysis. It also covers internal process/system non-conformances, change control, calibration governance, quality data and reporting, quarantine stock control and oversight of product compliance.
The role requires a highly organised, resilient and detail-focused individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, balance competing demands as business needs change, maintain accurate records, engage confidently with stakeholders across functions, and take ownership of issues by coordinating others to drive effective resolution.
Accountabilities:
· Ensure Quality Management System and Compliance Governance
· Lead Customer Quality RCA/ CAPA
· Govern Internal Systems/ Process Nonconformances
· Manage Engineering Change Control Process
Own Quality Data, Traceability, Reporting, and Insights
Essential:
Relevant engineering, manufacturing or quality qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in managing customer quality issues, system non-conformances, corrective actions and effectiveness verification.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, quality system compliance, audit readiness and controlled documentation.
- Understanding of engineering change control, PPAP/PSW requirements and risk-based quality decision-making.
- Knowledge of calibration control, MSA principles and non-conforming product management.
- Strong capability in quality data analysis and KPI reporting.
- Formal internal auditor qualification or lead auditor training.
Desirable:
Exposure to aerospace-grade quality system expectations, such as AS9100.
- Experience supporting external audits, customer audits or regulatory surveillance activities.
- Confidence using data and reporting tools, such as advanced Excel or BI dashboards, to support insight and decision-making.

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
