Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces with precision and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with a range of tools and techniques used in painting processes.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment to apply coatings evenly across different materials.
- Mix paints, primers, and other substances accurately according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure consistency and finish quality.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during operations.
Experience
- Proven experience painting.
- Basic maths skills for measuring, mixing paints, and calculating coverage areas.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques is desirable but training will be provided for specific tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in painting. Pay: £13.83-£17.50 per hour
