The Treehouse Club is a multi award winning group of Forestry Nurseries, Preschools and Out of School Clubs in the heart of Essex. Operating for 15 years, we have grown to 13 settings.
We are looking for an experienced Pre-School & Out of School Club Manager who loves the benefits of outdoor education and can expand the setting on our forest school ethos.
Term time only working 7:30am - 6:30pm 4 days per week

Duties
- Oversee the daily running of the pre-school centre, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead (training will be provided if needed)
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of childcare staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement educational programmes that promote early childhood development in line with best practices.
- Develop and implement programmes for the Out of School Club for Primary school aged children.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the centre.
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance team skills.
- Ensure all activities are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of young children.
- Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping, and reporting to regulatory bodies.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of nursery regulations, child protection policies, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in developing educational programmes suitable for preschool-aged children.
