Brook House is looking for a new Head Chef to join the team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations
- Create and develop innovative and delicious menu items
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a care home setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating unique dishes
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
