Esso Hele Cross Service Station are currently looking to recruit a kitchen assistant for our busy "Food To Go Team".
Working 32 Hours Per Week Over 5 Days (06.30 am - 2.30 pm) Shifts Will Be Monday Through To Friday, With A Rotational Saturday Every 3 Weeks.
Duties include the preparation and cooking of our "Food To Go" menu, interaction with customers, so a friendly disposition is key, along with being a good team player in what can be a busy fast paced environment.
The applicant must be flexible as additional shifts for holiday cover will be required at certain times throughout the year
Summary
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be an essential member of our culinary team, supporting food preparation and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager , your core skills in food safety and kitchen experience will be vital in maintaining high standards. Your premium skills in food preparation and catering will enhance our service quality & helping to maintain a clean hygienic kitchen, which is essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Culinary experience, preferably in a catering or restaurant environment
- Ability to assist in meal preparation and cooking tasks
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff
A clean, smart appearance is required, along with previous experience
