Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice in providing excellent oral health care to our patients. Our dentist is a busy NHS/PRIVATE practice with an excellent reputation within our local area. We are a very friendly, professional and supportive team. You will always have one of our qualified dental nurses to support you.
Attractive hourly rate, depending on your experience.
This position is for 1 day a week with the potential to increase to 2 days a week (Tuesday or Thursday)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Administer local anaesthesia under the direction of the dentist
- Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide guidance on nutrition for oral health improvement
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene from a recognised institution
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
