Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Domiciliary care specialising in senior care and care in the home , including dementia and Alzheimer's care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of service user wellbeing. The successful applicant will play a vital role in fostering a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure delivery of high-quality care aligned with individual care plans.
- Oversee the implementation of medication administration procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Develop, review, and update personalised care plans for residents with complex needs.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health & safety, and regulatory requirements governing Domiciliary care.
- Manage operational aspects including staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Lead staff training programmes focused on senior care, dementia care, and leadership development.
- Handle complaints or incidents promptly and effectively to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in domiciliary care.
- Strong leadership qualities with previous supervising experience in senior or dementia care environments.
- In-depth knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, medication administration, and developing personalised care plans.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with residents’ families, staff, and external professionals.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards governing adult social care.
- Management experience with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
