The Role: Retail & Buys Assistant (Full Time, Permanent)
Location: Luton
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday)
As a Retail & Buys Assistant, you’ll play a key role in buying and selling pre-owned goods in-store. You’ll use your knowledge of modern gadgets and strong customer service skills to help customers find products they love — while achieving sales targets and maintaining our store’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by developing strong product knowledge
- Buy and sell pre-owned goods confidently and accurately
- Demonstrate products and identify selling opportunities through great communication
- Maintain stock levels and high standards of merchandising and store presentation
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while upholding the company’s professional image
- Take part in training and development to grow your skills and product expertise
About You
- Passion for gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets, PCs, or gaming consoles
- Retail experience (especially in technology or jewellery) is an advantage
- Confident communicator with great listening and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisation
- Comfortable working under pressure in a busy retail environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
- Computer literate and eager to learn
