Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5/class 2 driver labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed lorries and assisting with scaffolding tasks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Safely operate flatbed lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding at various locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading scaffolding ,including securing loads on flatbeds/dropsides.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures during daily operations
Qualifications
- Valid 7.5/Category 2 (Class 2) driving licence with relevant driving experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with scaffold labouring experience, but not essential
- Knowledge of flatbed lorry operation and safety protocols
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and service
