Job Summary
We are seeking Carpenters all over London on multiple projects ranging from first to second fix. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks across different trades, requiring a proactive approach and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Operate and utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively
- Perform welding tasks with precision to meet project specifications
- Conduct basic carpentry, masonry, roofing, and mechanical work as required
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support construction and maintenance activities
- Support commercial driving duties when necessary, including transporting materials or equipment
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards
- Maintain organisation of tools, materials, and work areas for efficiency and safety
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or mechanical trades is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment or structures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively over extended periods
- Experience in commercial driving preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction and maintenance work
