Salary: £35,000 - £41,200
Location: Leicester - Office-based during 6-month probation period, then hybrid working available (3 days office, 2 days from home)

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their expanding technical team. You will become part of a well-structured paraplanning department consisting of eight paraplanners, providing an excellent support network and opportunities for ongoing development. This role will involve providing comprehensive paraplanning support to financial advisers, undertaking technical research, cashflow modelling, portfolio analysis, and producing high-quality suitability reports. The business has a strong pensions focus but is increasingly working with higher-net-worth clients requiring more complex planning around estate planning, inheritance tax, investments, and retirement strategies.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: £35,000 - £41,200 depending on experience

Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- 30-minute lunch break
- Office-based for the first 6 months during probation
- Following successful completion of probation, hybrid working available with up to 2 days per week working from home
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Paraplanning role within Financial Planning or Wealth Management
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) qualified or actively working towards completion
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and protection
- Experience writing suitability reports and undertaking technical research
- Ability to interpret Fact Finds and Know Your Client (KYC) information to identify suitable client outcomes
- Experience with cashflow modelling, fund performance analysis, and risk profiling
- Candidates from SIPP or SSAS backgrounds with strong technical knowledge will also be considered
- Experience using Curo or similar back-office systems would be beneficial
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct provider and product research to support adviser recommendations
- Undertake fund performance analysis, risk profiling, and portfolio reviews
- Prepare high-quality, compliant suitability reports tailored to individual client objectives
- Perform cashflow modelling and technical analysis to support financial planning recommendations
- Interpret Fact Finds and client information to identify suitable planning solutions
- Manage complex cases from inception through to completion
- Maintain ownership of your workload and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and service standards
- Liaise effectively with advisers, providers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all work is completed in line with compliance, regulatory, and company standards
