Protection Team Leader/Manager
Southampton | Full-Time | Office-Based
We are seeking an experienced Protection Team Leader to manage and develop a team of Protection Advisers within a regulated financial services environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, coaching advisers, monitoring compliance standards, managing recruitment and development, and ensuring excellent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of Protection Advisers.

Drive sales performance and improve conversion rates.

Conduct call listening, quality reviews and performance coaching.

Manage recruitment, onboarding and team development.

Handle complaints, performance management and HR-related matters.

Ensure FCA, Consumer Duty and compliance standards are maintained.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and produce management reporting.
About You

Minimum 2 years' advised protection sales experience.

Previous team leadership or management experience.

Strong understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and T&C requirements.

Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
