The Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) is an internationally renowned sailing events venue that was host to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Competitions.
WPNSA regularly hosts major events such as World and European Championships as well as providing opportunities for recreational sailors to get on the water. The driving force and focus of the Academy are the sailing events and the provision of access to water sports for all but to sustain the facilities and business we have several other income streams such as a boat yard and a strong catering operation including conference and function facilities.
WPNSA are looking for a new Management Accountant to join our small team. This is a part-time position in the region of 20-24 hours per week but there is a degree of flexibility around the hours/days. It is a complex business which makes it a varied and interesting role. This is a hands-on role and whilst the key elements of the role are financial there may be potential to expand the role into other areas of administration for the right candidate. The priority is finding the right person to fit in with the existing team and so an open mind will be kept on how the role is filled.
