We're looking for an ambitious Marketing Experience Manager to lead both the marketing strategy and resident experience for one of Birmingham's most prestigious Build to Rent communities. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile residential brand, driving leasing performance, resident engagement, retention, and community growth.
Combining digital marketing, brand development, customer experience, and community engagement, this role offers genuine influence across the business and the chance to make a measurable impact on occupancy, resident satisfaction, and commercial success.
As the face of the community, you'll work closely with operational teams, leasing professionals, and external agency partners to deliver an outstanding customer journey from prospect to resident advocate.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and implement the community's annual marketing strategy, ensuring consistent and premium brand positioning.
- Lead all marketing activity across digital and offline channels, driving awareness, engagement, and leasing enquiries.
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and suppliers, ensuring campaigns deliver measurable performance and strong ROI.
- Oversee social media channels, content planning, and community engagement to grow audiences and strengthen brand visibility.
- Coordinate content creation, photography, videography, and creative campaigns that showcase the lifestyle offering and resident experience.
- Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with brand standards and commercial objectives.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
- Manage digital marketing campaigns across paid social, PPC, SEO, email marketing, website content, and property portals.
- Analyse marketing performance, lead quality, conversion rates, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
- Produce regular performance reports with actionable recommendations to improve results.
- Work closely with leasing teams to ensure marketing activity directly supports occupancy targets and revenue growth.
- Continuously optimise customer acquisition strategies to improve lead generation and conversion performance.
Resident Experience & Community Engagement
- Create and deliver a resident experience programme that fosters a genuine sense of belonging and community.
- Plan and coordinate resident events, activations, partnerships, and engagement initiatives throughout the year.
- Lead resident communications across newsletters, resident apps, social media, and on-site channels.
- Gather resident feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct engagement, using insights to enhance the customer journey.
- Develop resident retention, referral, and advocacy initiatives that support long-term occupancy and satisfaction.
- Champion a customer-first culture and ensure every interaction reflects the premium nature of the development.
Commercial & Stakeholder Management
- Support leasing performance through targeted marketing initiatives and customer engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing, operations, and customer experience objectives.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and external partners effectively.
- Use data and insight to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Essential Experience
- Experience in marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, customer experience, or community engagement.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, paid media, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and lead generation.
- Experience analysing performance data and turning insights into meaningful actions.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and project management capability.
- Commercially aware with a customer-centric mindset.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within Build to Rent, residential property, real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, leisure, co-living, or customer experience-led sectors.
- Experience managing external agencies and marketing budgets.
- Event planning, community management, or customer engagement experience.
