Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various catering outlets. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of event catering units, welfare spaces, and other commercial facilities, including cleaning, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of units, serving areas, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards and high food hygiene practice
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as cleaning supplies, paper products, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and professionalism
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
