Job description
We are currently recruiting for a new weekend facilities cleaner to join the team in Northampton NN3 6XJ.
The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team to carry out facilities cleaning and warehouse cleaning.
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday 0800-1600
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
- Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
- Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
- Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Report anything in need of repair or replacement
- Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
- Use a powered cleaning machines including pedestrian machine use
- Record all cleaning tasks as directed
- Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors and visitors to the site
You will report to the Duty Manager and Site Supervisor.
You will be expected to work on a shift basis and may be asked to carry out other tasks as may be required by the Site Manager to fulfil client or ISM requirements.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Northampton NN3 6XJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
