At Enduring Hearts we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our CQC department as Registered Manager to spearhead the operational growth of the organisation.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager with experience working Children and young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in a safe, compliant, and compassionate manner. This role requires strong leadership, management expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of regulated care environments, particularly within assisted living, nursing home, and Mental Health care settings. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record in managing care teams, developing care plans, and maintaining excellent relationships with Service users, families, and regulatory bodies.
Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Company, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of personalised care plans for Service users, including those under the age of 18.
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and supervision.
- Ensure medication administration is carried out accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to service user care care, staff rotas, audits, and compliance reports.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor quality standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with residents’ families to ensure their needs are met and they are kept informed about their loved ones’ wellbeing.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation efficiently to optimise service delivery.
- Ensure all staff receive ongoing training and professional development opportunities aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CQC inspections and ensure all compliance documentation is up-to-date.
Skills
- Extensive experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care needs.
- Proven management and supervising experience within a care home setting.
- In-depth knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and medication administration protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Sound understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to engage residents, families, and staff effectively.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
