Uniform Education is seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to work in a mainstream secondary school in Harrow.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff.
- Support pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum in a calm, structured classroom environment.
- Adapt your approach to suit different classes and individual needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using supportive, consistent strategies.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior staff to maintain a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Step into different subject areas across the school, supporting learning in both academic and life skills sessions.

- Have experience working in a school or youth/support environment.
- Be calm, confident, and able to lead a classroom with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Be proactive, dependable, and a strong team player.
- Have a clear and confident communication style, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Hold a valid DBS or be willing to undergo a new check through Uniform Education.

Pay: £97.68-£100.71 per day
