Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure outstanding customer experiences, and uphold the highest levels of food safety and quality. Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is highly desirable, along with supervisory and team management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Oversee the smooth operation of service shifts, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
- Supervise food preparation, serving, and overall food presentation to maintain high standards.
- Manage reservations, greet guests, and handle customer enquiries with professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies across all front-of-house activities.
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any operational issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Support the development of team members through coaching and leadership initiatives.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising or managing a restaurant or hospitality team.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or hotels.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including barista experience is advantageous.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
