Overview
We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee a 16 week refurbishment of an existing food store in Richmond. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing sub contractors, and ensuring that project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, working in a live store environment and under the Considerate Contractors banner.
Duties
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines effectively
- Manage health and safety compliance across the site, conducting regular inspections
- Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- SMSTS
- Black CSCS
- First Aid at Work
- Knowledge of working in Live store environments
- Knowledge of working ot Considerate Contractor expectations
- Sound knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
