Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnosing faults and identifying required repair work
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently
- Completing work to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Road testing vehicles where required
- Ensuring correct handling and storage of parts
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Delivering excellent workmanship and customer care
Candidate Specification:
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician preferred, although time-served candidates will also be considered
- Proven experience within a workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Full UK driving licence required
