CCTV Drainage Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business operating a modern fleet of CCTV survey vehicles equipped with the latest drainage inspection technology.
Working independently or as part of a team, the successful candidate will complete both planned and reactive drainage surveys across commercial, industrial, and public highway environments. The role also includes responsibility for maintaining allocated vehicles and equipment while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out CCTV drainage surveys using OS19 or equivalent systems
- Complete look-see and detailed condition surveys
- Produce accurate survey reports using WINCAN software
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment
- Conduct drainage tracing and locating using CAT scanners and sondes
- Work safely in confined spaces and on public highways
- Accurately complete site records and reports using tablet devices
- Identify and report any required follow-on works
- Maintain company vehicles, CCTV units, and associated equipment
- Complete vehicle checks, defect reports, and driver hour records
- Follow all company health & safety procedures
- Participate in the on-call rota when required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- OS19 qualification or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points preferred)
- CSCS Card
- Confined Spaces certification
- High Pressure Water Jetting certificate
- Experience operating mainline CCTV camera systems
- Experience using WINCAN v7/v8
- Experience working on groundworks and construction sites
- Knowledge of working on public highways
- Basic IT skills including tablet, internet, and email use
Desirable
- NRSWA / Streetworks qualification
- Haddams qualification
- Experience with drainage locating and tracing systems
