We are currently recruiting a reliable and professional 3.5T Van Driver to join a busy food distribution operation based in Paignton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a supportive team.
The Role
As a 3.5T Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food products to a range of customers across the South West. You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out deliveries to commercial customers
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Following delivery schedules and planned routes
- Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of the South West
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts
- Early starts required
- Full-time ongoing work
