The JN Group we specialise in supporting young people aged 16-24 with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and we are currently looking to grow our Residential Support Worker team.

Essential Requirements for this role :
- Must be a Car Driver with a Full UK Driver’s License
Previous experience is essential for this role.
What will I do as a Residential Support Worker?
You will allow our young people to experience childhood/adolescence, build self-esteem and accept themselves, helping their journey into adulthood.
- You will help facilitate activities and appointments, supporting them in all aspects of their lives. You will ensure their health and wellbeing, safeguarding them at all times.
- You will meet a variety of young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
- You will support the wider team with a range of domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and food shopping.
- You will create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
- You will have clear experience within Mental Health, Supporting Trauma, Abuse, Neglect, Self-Harm and Challenging Behaviours
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support in the home, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
- Engage in recreational and educational activities to promote development.
- Administer medication as required and monitor health conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to address individual needs.
You will be working along side an experienced and dedicated staff team.
Working hours are 7.30am - 7:30pm ( 12 hour shifts)
The successful applicants will be appointed subject to references and enhanced DBS check.
Qualified rate payable for individuals who currently hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential or NVQ Level 4 Children and Young People

Pay: £27,316.00-£28,526.00 per year
