Poultry Handling Operative
Pay: £12.71 per hour + £50 weekly attendance bonus
Location: Norwich - transport provided from Norwich
Shift pattern: Nights, Sunday to Thursday

We are looking for a reliable Poultry Handling Operative to join an established, specialist agricultural team. Based in Norwich, you will travel to farms across the UK, helping to safely prepare poultry for transportation. This is a practical, hands-on role involving night work, long shifts, and regular travel, so it would suit dependable people who are comfortable with physical work and enjoy being part of a close-knit team. Previous experience in farming, poultry, or livestock work would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Handling poultry safely inside sheds and placing birds into transport crates
- Preparing sheds before loading begins
- Following strict bird welfare, hygiene, and health and safety standards
- Working closely with the team across different farm locations
- Travelling from Norwich to farms across the UK
