We’re seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Event Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll support the Events Sales and Management team throughout the booking and event planning process. From handling enquiries and preparing proposals to assisting with event administration and on-the-day coordination, you'll play a key role in ensuring every event runs smoothly and delivers an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Events Sales team in managing incoming booking enquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Support the preparation of customised proposals, quotations, and booking documentation in line with client requirements.v
- Assist with promoting event packages, seasonal offers, and bespoke experiences to maximise sales opportunities.
- Coordinate venue viewings and support the Events team during client meetings and site visits.
- Provide administrative support throughout the event planning process, ensuring all event details are accurately recorded and communicated.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of function sheets and event information to relevant departments to support seamless event delivery.
- Attend events as required to support the Events team with coordination and client liaison.
- Maintain accurate client records and update booking information using reservation and CRM systems (SevenRooms and Tripleseat preferred).
- Support the team in building and maintaining strong client relationships through followup communications and enquiry management.
- Assist with market research and business development activities, including outreach via telephone, email, and social media.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Events Sales and Management teams, including booking confirmations, contract administration, filing, and system updates.
- Assist with back-of-house event preparation and operational tasks to ensure smooth event execution.
- Collaborate closely with venue, operations, and management teams to ensure all event requirements are communicated effectively.
