We are looking for a reliable, confident and experienced coach who can lead sessions, support players, work with other coaches and help maintain high standards across our programmes.
This role is ideal for a coach who is serious about their coaching journey, has strong session delivery skills and wants to be part of a growing football environment.
The successful coach will be trusted to lead sessions independently, support match days where required and help create a positive learning environment for players.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality football coaching sessions
- Plan and deliver enjoyable, structured and age-appropriate sessions
- Support player development across different age groups
- Help manage groups of players in a positive and professional way
- Communicate well with players, parents and other coaches
- Support match days, tournaments and club events where needed
- Help maintain the standards and values of Sporting Kids FC
- Support younger or assistant coaches during sessions
- Create a safe, fun and challenging environment for players
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong football coaching experience
- Confident leading sessions independently
- Experience working with children and young players
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong energy on the pitch
- Enhanced DBS or willing to complete one
- Safeguarding qualification or willing to complete one
Preferred:
- UEFA B Licence or currently working towards UEFA B
- Experience within grassroots football, academies, development centres or coaching companies
- First Aid qualification
- Experience supporting match days or team environments
Please note: For this Lead Coach role, we are ideally looking for someone with UEFA B level experience or above, as the position requires a coach who can take ownership, lead sessions confidently and support the wider development of players and coaches. experience in sports coaching, particularly football or similar team sports
Working Hours
This is a part-time role with evening and weekend work available.
Sessions may include:
- Weekday evening training
- Saturday sessions
- Sunday match days
- School holiday camps
- Tournaments and club events
Exact hours can be discussed depending on availability.
Pay: £20.00-£40.00 per hour
