Michael Page is recruiting a Resource Planning Administrator to support the Customer Service department of a well-established public sector organisation on the outskirts of Cardiff.

The role of a Resource Planning Administrator

Preparing and managing staff schedules to ensure operational efficiency across the Customer Service department

Monitoring and adjusting resource plans to meet changing demands in a fast-paced public sector environment

Collaborating with team leads to align workforce allocation with business needs on an ongoing basis

Maintaining accurate records of shift patterns and resource allocations throughout the working week

Analysing data to identify trends and propose improvements to resource planning processes

Communicating schedule updates and changes promptly to all relevant stakeholders
The ideal Resource Planning Administrator candidate

Experience in a similar administrative or resource planning and scheduling role

Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse data and create actionable plans

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
