Our Operations Department have an exciting career development opportunity to join the team as an Operations Planner. The successful candidate would be responsible for the efficient planning of vessel and terminal operations including co-ordinating the terminal’s operational labour force.

· Some experience of shipping/operations planning.
· Willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships at all levels.
· Able to demonstrate problem solving and negotiation skills.
· First class attention to detail and highly conscientious.
· Awareness of financial and commercial issues.
· Work effectively under pressure, meeting strict deadlines and successfully managing a number of priorities.
· Good use of IT, including excel and word.
· Knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems (desirable).
Due to the nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to be flexible on hours and park of the weekend working rota.

Pay: £33,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
