Fish Cottage is looking for experienced and professional Front of House team members to join our busy and growing restaurant team.
We are not looking for order takers – we are looking for people who genuinely care about hospitality, take pride in delivering excellent service, and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests.
As one of the busiest restaurants on the Yorkshire Coast, you must be confident working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of service, attention to detail, and professionalism.
The Role
* Welcoming and looking after guests throughout their visit
* Taking food and drink orders accurately and confidently
* Delivering food and beverages to a high standard
* Providing knowledgeable menu recommendations
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining areas
* Working closely with the kitchen and wider front of house team
* Handling busy service periods calmly and efficiently

* Previous restaurant service experience is essential
* Friendly, professional, and confident personality
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work well under pressure during busy services
