Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit experienced brain injury support workers (part-time role) to support our young client, very active client who lives with his family in Enfield. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance his independence, daily structure, well- being and community engagement. Our client will have WAV – therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and proactive individual who can build a positive rapport with our client and support him in leading an active and fulfilling lifestyle. The successful candidate will be confident using their initiative, adaptable to changing needs, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
We are currently looking for a part-time staff member 3 shifts per week.
Hours
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00pm to 8.00pm
Saturday 1.00pm to 9.00pm - alternate weekend cover will be required.
Half term – 10.00am - 6.00pm.
Pay
Mon - Fri - £17.00 p/h
Sat - £18.50 p/h
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client , ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
- Assist with medication management and help service users attend health appointments.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Experience
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care in the afternoons and alternate Saturdays. The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients (paediatric experience), challenging behaviour, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
