TrailSurge UK is a growing electric bike, electric scooter and outdoor leisure retailer. We are looking for a reliable, confident and organised Customer Service & Sales Assistant to help us improve customer response times, answer sales enquiries, and support day-to-day customer communication.
This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure, confident speaking to customers, good with written messages, and able to handle a mixture of phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails and order updates.
Main Duties
- Answer incoming sales and customer service calls
- Reply to WhatsApp and email enquiries promptly
- Follow up missed calls and open customer enquiries
- Help customers with product questions before purchase
- Provide delivery updates and chase courier/supplier information where needed
- Update customers before issues escalate
- Keep clear notes of customer conversations and order issues
- Escalate technical, warranty or refund cases to management
- Follow up with customers after delivery where required
- Help request reviews from happy customers
- Support with general admin tasks during quieter periods
What We’re Looking For
- Confident and polite phone manner
- Strong written English for WhatsApp and email replies
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using basic online systems
- Able to stay calm with frustrated customers
- Interest in e-bikes, scooters or outdoor products would be helpful, but full training can be provided
Ideal Experience
- Customer service experience
- Sales or retail experience
- Admin or order management experience
- Experience using WhatsApp Business, Shopify, Gmail or similar systems would be useful but not essential
Working Hours
We are flexible, but the ideal starting hours would be around 10–20 hours per week, mainly during daytime business hours Monday to Friday.
This role may be partly office-based in Nuneaton and partly remote once training is complete.
